We were making family trees in our class and I was working with a 5 year old girl. We established that she had a sister in her mum's tummy, a mum and a dad. We then got onto granddads and grandmas.
'Oh good let's write nanna then'
'Do you have a grandad then?'
'NO'
'Oh why?'
'He died'
'Oh I am sorry about that'
She then looked up at the ceiling, sighed and said...
'He is on the moon now.'
